Background The South African Post Office has introduced a new rate structure that distinguishes between small users and businesses that post large quantities of domestic parcels. This structure offers customised rates for bulk mailers if parcels are presented according to certain criteria. Scope The domestic parcel service applies to parcels posted in South Africa and intended for delivery in South Africa. Exception. No special rates are granted on parcels for foreign countries. Value-added services The Post Office offers two value-added services:
