DOCEX is a wholly owned subsidiary of the South African Post Office that offers a reliable and cost-effective method for exchanging correspondence and documents in both paper and electronic formats.

It serves as an efficient overnight mail conduit between main cities across the country. DOCEX provides a cost-effective method for the exchange of correspondence and documents between its members. DOCEX is comprised of over 4000 members, including legal professionals, medical professionals, travel professionals, major banks, insurance companies, real estate professionals, and other private sector enterprises. DOCEX operates nine branches nationally and maintains more than 300 exchanges.

DOCEX exchanges are placed at branches that are convenient and easily accessible locations throughout South Africa. On a daily basis, our members deposit and retrieve their mail from these exchanges.
